LOVE Island is thrilling fans with its high drama and romance – but some fans are wondering if the iconic Casa Amor will return.

The second villa has been the root of some of the show’s best moments, and fans are eager to see it back for season 8.

When is Casa Amor in Love Island 2022?

Love Island‘s dreaded Casa Amor will be back for the 2022 series.

The Sun revealed that the second villa will be introduced on July 4, 2022 and chaos is set to ensue as the Islanders put their budding romances to the biggest test of all.

A show insider said: “Just when the Islanders start to get comfortable in their couples,  they are going to get a real shock as they are torn apart.

“This year’s Casa Amor promises to be the most explosive yet thanks to some seriously fiery characters, who have already shown their heads can be turned.”

Fans had feared the segment of the show might be axed after they left the old villa and found a new location for the show.

But bosses are gearing up to let all hell break loose in the secret other villa.

The insider added: “Everything is in place, but the date could change at the last minute.

“This is if bosses decide they can ramp up the drama at an earlier or later moment.”

What is Casa Amor?

Casa Amor means Love House in Spanish.

In previous series’ of Love Island the second villa has been located close to the main compound, but this is yet to be confirmed for 2022.

How will it work?

Casa Amor sees the boys sent off to a brand new house, filled with six brand new girls.

They stay there for three or four days before deciding if they want to return to the villa with their newfound flames.

It’s the ultimate challenge to see if their heads will be turned.

How can I watch Love Island?’

Love Island is back on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.

A new episode will air every night at 9pm from Sunday to Friday.

On Saturday nights there will be a highlights episode, which will also air unseen footage from the villa.
