THE Apprentice is back on the BBC with one contestant fired each week from the boardroom.
No contestant wants to have Lord Alan Sugar’s finger pointed at them and hear those infamous words: “You’re Fired!”
Who left The Apprentice tonight?
The 15 remaining candidates had to design a toothbrush aimed at children aged 6-8 years old in the January 13 episode.
Divided into two teams, each week the hopefuls take on the tasks set by Lord Sugar, hoping to come out on top and escape the axe.
While the winning team gets a treat, the losing team is sent to the Bridge Cafe – and this is where the blame game begins.
At least one of them will be fired in the boardroom.
The second episode of season 16 saw the boys lose the task after their toothbrush was accused of looking like a turd instead of a wand because of the brown and green colours..
After losing the task, team leader Aaron Willis decided to take Conor Gilsenan and Nick Showering into the boardroom and after consulting with his advisers Karren Brady and Tim Campbell, Lord Sugar told Conor “You’re Fired”.
