BRAZILIAN-BORN actress, singer and dancer Jossara Jinaro was known for her roles in popular American and Colombian TV dramas.

She passed away on Wednesday, 27 April 2022, her husband confirmed on Facebook.

Who was Jossara Jinaro?

The 48 year-old actress and mother of two was born in Brazil, raised in Colombia, and later moved to the United States with her family.

The singer, dancer, and actress relocated from Chicago to Los Angeles to peruse a career in the entertainment industry.

Best known as an actress, Jinaro performed on stage, the small and the big screen, later producing her own short films.

Her husband Matt Bogado posted a photo of his family on Facebook with a caption announcing his wife’s death and paying tribute to her.

“Jossara bravely fought cancer and came home to be surrounded by family,” he said.

“Even in her last moments, she was still fighting. She is now resting in peace and will be remembered forever. Myself, Liam, and Emrys will miss her so deeply, although we know she is in our hearts and guiding us every step of the way.”

She leaves behind her husband and two young children.

“Even in her last moments, she was still fighting. She is now resting in peace and will be remembered forever,” her widowed husband said in the post. The type of cancer she had is unknown.

Jinaro played the role of Andrea Clemente on popular hospital drama ER.

The veteran Hollywood actress’ career spanned the big and small screen in the United States and South America.

What other TV shows did Jossara Jinaro appear in?

She began her career starring as Courtney Messina on Judging Army. and later as Rae on Passions.

She was nominated for a GLAAD award for her performance on Passions in 2006.

Jinaro later moved back to Colombia to star on telenovela La Bella Ceci y El Imprudente.

As an actress, her film credits include Devil’s Rejects, Havoc, Fly Boys, World Trade Center and Go For It!

She later stepped into producing short films, her film Desert Road Kill debuted at film festivals around the world.
