The Fast and Furious actor, 43, has paid a touching tribute and said his family was “broken” without her.

Well-recognized as Tyrese’s mother, Priscilla Murray Gibson first gained the attention of the public when her son debuted his 1998 studio album, which included the single Sweet Lady.

On Sunday, February 6, Tyrese shared that his mother was hospitalized for Covid-19 and pneumonia and being treated in the ICU.
How did Priscilla Murray Gibson die?
Tyrese had been keeping his fans and well-wishers updated on his mom’s condition on social media.
He regularly posted on Instagram with news as well as asking for thoughts and prayers while Priscilla was in hospital.
Tyrese praised his supporters for their “prayers, love, and energy” when he arrived at the hospital and uploaded another photo outside Murray’s ICU bedside.
He uploaded more photographs from the hospital where Murray was hospitalized, along with a heartbreaking update from medical personnel.
“The Doctor sat in this chair and just broke my heart by telling me there’s pretty much nothing else that can be done to turn things around,” the star wrote in the post’s caption.
“I paused, and in my most sincere voice I asked him…. You ever heard of a man name Jesus Christ? Nothing is impossible for him.”
Then he broke the devastating news on February 14 that she had died.
“On behalf of my family and everyone who ever spent anytime praying for my mother This is the saddest moment of my life………. My sweet Valentine just passed away…..” Gibson captioned a heartbreaking video of himself holding his mom’s hand in her hospital bed while crying.
“May the lord Jesus Christ and his angels open the doors of heavens and embrace her………. We as a family are broken and just can’t believe this……. May the lord Jesus Christ honor your walk with him and embrace you into the heavens…….” he said.
“From here on I ask that you HOLD MY HAND MOTHER and never let my hand go………. Like you held my hand as a child and a teen never let my hand go mother…..”
