The second OW2 playtest’s duration and start time have both been made public by Blizzard, along with a countdown for when they will begin and release the Overwatch 2 beta.
For many, this is their first chance to experience the eagerly awaited sequel from Blizzard. You can either purchase a Watchpoint Pack to ensure participation or try to sign up and get invited.
It’s a cool demo that will provide many console and PC players their first hands-on experience with the game before its PvP mode debuts in early access format in October.

THE OVERWATCH 2 BETA BEGINS AT WHAT TIME?
The Overwatch 2 beta will start on June 28 at 11:00 Pacific Time, 14:00 Eastern Time, and 19:00 British Summer Time.
This information is from the OW2 FAQ by Blizzard. You can try to sign up and get an invitation if you want to learn how to play.
Choose your platform by going to the opt-in webpage. For PS4 and PS5, choose either PlayStation Americas, Europe, Japan, or Asia. For Xbox One and Series X/S, choose Xbox. There is also a PC available.
After choosing your platform, click ask for beta access. Any invitations you receive will be sent to the battle.net account email address on June 28; you must use the code to redeem the invitation at the appropriate store.
The good news is that Blizzard promises extra codes will be given on July 5th if you don’t get an invite before June 28th. According to their FAQ, they also intend to provide everyone who joins up beta access before July 14th.
Purchase the Watchpoint Pack from the PSN, Microsoft, or battle.net shop to ensure immediate access starting on June 28.
THE OW2 PLAYTEST DURATION
According to Blizzard, the Overwatch 2 beta will last three weeks, starting on June 28 and ending on July 18.
Three weeks is a terrific amount of time since it will give fans plenty of time to really experience everything without feeling rushed. Be aware, though, that any advancements you make during the playtest will not transfer to the finished game.
Blizzard has announced that the complete PvP game will debut on October 4th. Not only will it be available this year, but regardless of whether you possess OW1 or not, it will be free to play.
