The daughter of one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members, Jacqueline Laurita, talked about her health. She also said that she plans to talk more in the future about living with Bipolar II.
The 31-year-old social media star admitted that she didn’t believe her diagnosis at first, but she also said she didn’t know everything about her condition. Ashely also said that she needed to take a break from social media and get help to deal with her diagnosis.

Ashlee Malleo said in an Instagram post that she had been told she has Bipolar II. She started taking medicine right away because she felt like she had tried everything to deal with it on her own but had failed. But at first, she was afraid of the diagnosis because of the stigma that came with it.
Ashlee said that the diagnosis made her feel like she could take charge of her life again. She also said that she had learned not to be ashamed of her illness and not to let anyone make her feel ashamed of it. She said that she wouldn’t let anyone try to bring her down by using her diagnosis as a “scapegoat.”
At the end of her post, Ashlee admitted that she was “hopeful” for what was to come in her life and where she’d be a year from now. She saw life as “a journey with ups and downs” and told her followers to “keep going and be proud.”
Ashlee opens up about her divorce with Pete Malleo
Ashlee confirmed her split from Pete Malleo, with whom she has a 5-year-old son named Cameron Hendrix Malleo, in September 2021. In November of last year, the star wrote on Instagram about how her relationship with her ex-husband is going during the “emotional rollercoaster” of her divorce.
On December 1, 2021, the star turned 31. She thought about everything that had happened in her life, including her divorce. She went on Instagram to talk about how up and down her year had been and said:
