Givenchy, a French luxury brand, and Disney are working together to create the limited-edition 101 Damatians capsule. The famous puppies from the animated classic film 101 Dalmatians from 1961 decorate the collection. The fashion house is selling a luxury capsule with the same name that was made available on the French fashion brand’s official online store on July 1, 2022.
The second limited-edition line from the creative team’s collaboration honors fidelity, love, and chic living in the City of Lights. The series “The Wonder Gallery” was started earlier this year in May to honor Walt Disney and its brand, and the collection is a continuation of that series. The second installment of the lengthy partnership has now been released and is available for purchase for between $230 to $1,665.
Matthew M. Williams, the fashion house’s creative director, worked with the Disney team to create the recently released collection. Pongo, Perdita, and their adorable puppies are referenced in the collection, which is a celebration of love and loyalty as they journey out into the City of Light for fun and adventure. The inclusion of the Dalmatians at Givenchy on Avenue George V enriches the campaign video’s narrative even more. Matthew M. Williams and supermodel Kate Moss appear in the video with the Dalmatians. They all assemble at the same location previously indicated in front of the Givenchy window to marvel at the things.
Cruelle De Vil, who also makes an appearance in the film, interrupts the action but is quickly repelled by the puppies’ parents, Pongo and Perdita.
In a press release, Eric Goldberg mentioned the collection and stated:
“It was an absolute dream to have the chance to tell a tale and create new animation with the 101 Dalmatians characters, through the innovative and humorous perspective of the House of Givenchy.”
The line includes a variety of collector items for both men and women, including ready-to-wear clothing, footwear, handbags, jewelry, and accessories.
The pricing range for the collection on the luxury house’s official e-commerce site is $400 to $4200 for ready-to-wear clothing, $335 to $575 for jewels, and $230 to $1665 for accessories.
