TWO men have been arrested after a teenage girl was knocked down and killed in a horror crash.
The 18-year-old was walking across a car park in the Dormans area of Gossops Green in Crawley, West Sussex, when she was struck.
The pedestrian was tragically declared dead at the scene after the collision on Monday at around 2.40am.
Her next of kin have been informed.
Police arrested two men, aged 20 and 21, after racing to the scene in the early hours.
The pair were held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving as well as driving while unfit through drink and drugs.
The 20-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug.
They have both since been released under investigation.
Cops are desperately hunting for the occupants of a second vehicle who may have witnessed the incident.
Officers appealed for the motorist to come forward as investigations into the fatal smash continue.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said last night: “Officers are appealing for witnesses and footage following a fatal collision in Crawley.
“They were called to a car park in Dormans in the Gossops Green area, at about 2.40am on Monday.
“The incident is believed to have involved a car and a pedestrian.
“An 18-year-old woman from Crawley was sadly declared dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
“Two men aged 21 and 20 years and from Crawley were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink and driving while over the prescribed limit for alcohol and drugs.
“The 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug.
“Both men have been released under investigation, pending further inquiries.
“Officers investigating have asked for the occupants of a second vehicle in the car park at the time to come forward.”
