The third and final season of Ricky Gervais’ black comedy-drama After Life has finally landed on Netflix.
The series follows local journalist Tony Johnson (Gervais) as he struggles to come to terms with the death of his wife Lisa and gives into self-destructive tendencies.
The black comedy-drama has tackled some important themes during its rollercoaster run, the impact of which have only been heightened by the show’s music choices, which often mirror Tony’s emotions and reflect his moods.
After Life season 3 features a wide range of musical acts, including legendary songwriters Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens, as well as rock bands Radiohead and Death Cab for Cutie.
For any viewers who hear something they like in the last six episodes, we’ve compiled a full list of the licensed songs in After Life season 3, of which the finale has the largest jukebox.

In the meantime, why not read about the meaning of After Life’s mysterious ending here, according to Gervais himself (though, be warned: full spoilers follow).
