All the cast for the Dancing on Ice 2022 line-up have now been revealed, which means it won’t be long before the new series starts.
The skating show is expected to return to ITV in January 2022, and there’s a new judge in town, with Strictly’s Oti Mabuse confirmed to replace John Barrowman on Dancing on Ice.
Taking to the ice for the new series is Love Island’s Liberty Poole, Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt, Strictly pro Brendan Cole and more.
With the contestants now confirmed, you might be wondering which one of the Dancing on Ice professionals they’ll be skating with.
Well, you’re in luck, as some of the pairings have already been revealed, with professional skater Vanessa Bauer revealing that she’ll be dancing with former Strictly star Brendan Cole for the new series of Dancing on Ice.
“Meet my new @dancingonice partner @brendancoleinsta !! We’re both incredibly excited about this new partnership and can’t wait to go above and beyond to hopefully deliver some magic on the ice of you! Let’s do this partner!!!,” she wrote alongside an image of the pair.

Kimberly Wyatt

Wyatt rose to fame as a member of the Pussycat Dolls, and she also performs as part of a dance duo called Her Majesty & the Wolves with Spencer Nezey. She is also about to star in the UK Tour of Dead Lies – which will be her debut on the stage.
In other reality shows, Wyatt was the winner of Celebrity MasterChef in 2015, and she tried her hand at being a judge on the Sky1 dance competition Got to Dance.
Connor Ball
Age: 25
Job: Bass guitarist and singer with The Vamps

Connor is best known for being a part of the band, The Vamps. He is the bassist of the band and prior to joining them, he was making a name for himself on YouTube where he was posting cover songs.
When he is not playing in the band, he admits that he is a lover of World of Warcraft – a skill that will be unlikely to help him on the ice but one we respect nonetheless.
Ria Hebden

Entertainment presenter Ria Hebden has joined the line-up for the 14th series.
The news was announced on ITV’s Lorraine, with Hebden saying: “It’ll be fun. This is one of ITV’s most sparkly shows so when they asked me I was like, ‘Absolutely!’. We watch it at home. It will be brilliant to learn a new scary skill.”
She added: “You’ve got to say yes to things that excite you, that are a little bit scary because that’s when the growth happens – I’m hoping so anyway!”
Kye Whyte
Age: 22
Job: Olympic BMX rider

Olympic BMX star Kye Whyte has joined the line-up for the 14th series. The news was announced on CBBC’s Newsround, with Kye admitting: “I’m feeling good.”
When asked if he’s ever skated he said: “I have [rollerskated] when I was younger so we’ll see how it goes.”
Brendan Cole

Former Strictly pro Brendan Cole has signed up for series 14 of Dancing on Ice.
He announced the news during an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women, telling the panellists: ““I’m so, so excited. It’s been a while coming now. I’ve known I’d be doing the show for quite some time and I want to get started, I’m so excited to be on the show.”
On his ice skating experience, he added: “On his ice-skating experience to date he said: “I’ve had one go. I’m a fairly confident person and I like to think I’m going to be good at what I put my hand to or my feet to! I was thinking okay I’m going to be fine, I’m going to be out there and I was terrible. I was a bit wobbly. You can expect to be a bit wobbly on ice but I was hoping I was going to be better than I was. I’ve got time to learn. I’m just going to embrace the whole experience and I’m very excited to get started.”
Rachel Stevens

Former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens has joined the line-up for the 14th series.
The news was announced on ITV’s This Morning on Tuesday, 5th October.
“It now feels really real, this is really happening. I’m so excited, obviously really nervous. It’s one of those things, until you do it you don’t know what’s going to happen,” Rachel told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Asked whether she’s ever skated before, she added: “Only with the Penguin with my kids – you know, every Christmas. I did it when I was 10 [years old] and dabbled in it for a little bit and I really loved it but I’m very wobbly.”
Regan Gascoigne
Age: 25

Regan Gascoigne – who is the son of English footballer Paul Gascoigne – has joined the 2022 line-up.
Regan is a trained dancer, but he’s not so keen on the ice, saying ahead of his debut: “Obviously I dance and love dancing but it’s the skill of this. I’ve always wanted to do it. Always! Ever since I was a kid!”
Ben Foden
Age: 36
Job: Rugby player

English rugby player Ben Foden is ditching the field for the ice as he joins the 2022 line-up.
“I used to skate a little when I was a kid. I’d go to ice discos when I was 15, 16 years old and you’d always see these kids that could do pirouettes that had a proper dancing background. I like the idea of learning a new sport and a new skill,” he said of his new signing.
“I’m quite competitive as well so I like the challenge of competing against others doing something that I’m not necessarily good at!”
Liberty Poole
Age: 21

Love Island star Liberty Poole has joined the line-up for the 14th series. She’ll be swapping the sun for the ice when the show returns earlier in the year.
Speaking of her new signing, Liberty, who walked from the seventh series of the ITV show, said: “I ice skate as a hobby sometimes so I can get around the rink but I can’t do any tricks, no pirouetting or anything so I’m really looking forward to pushing myself and learning as much as I possibly can. Not just skating around the ice but actually dancing on ice. Bring it on!”
Stef Reid

Track and field Paralympian Stef Reid was the third celebrity to be confirmed for the Dancing on Ice 2022 line-up.
On her new signing, she said: “I’m going to be picking up a new sport this winter and it comes with a little bit of showbiz. I’m going to be a contestant on Dancing on Ice and it’s a little bit scary but I cannot wait!”
Bez
Age: 58
Job: Music star and media personality

Bez will make his Dancing on Ice debut next year.
He joined Dancing On Ice presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield on This Morning to make the announcement, as he emerged from a snowball.
“At the moment it’s more like Bambi on Ice, not Dancing On Ice. How I got picked I don’t know because I was absolutely awful at the audition but they must have seen some potential in me!” he said.
“I’m looking forward to learning a new skill and I can’t wait for the Christmas ice rinks again and I can get on there and really show off.”
Upon hearing the news, his bandmate Shaun Ryder sent a special message to his old friend, saying: “It’s a happy Monday! Hope it’s not a black and blue Monday, mate. I’m here to wish you all the best and say ‘good luck fella’ for Dancing On Ice. Make sure you keep those maracas warm ‘cos it can get a bit cold! So, call the cops, good luck bro!”

Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor was announced as the first celebrity to take part on Dancing on Ice 2022. The news was revealed on ITV’s Lorraine.
Asked if she’s skated before, Sally said: “No never! I went with Hattie [her daughter] when she was little and I had a penguin and then thought this is too hard so I’ll go and get a coffee!”
She added: “This is a massive challenge, Lorraine. It really, really is. I’m not getting any younger, I’ve just got to take every opportunity I get so that when I’m old I can say you know what? I gave it a go.”
