Antonia Bennett is the second daughter born to Tony Bennett and actress Sandra Grant, the singer’s second wife. In 2010, she stepped over the musical threshold with the release of her first EP, “Natural.” She went on to record two full-length albums shortly thereafter, “Ordinary Girl” in 2011 and “Embrace Me” in 2014. She also made a musical cameo on her father’s 2011 Christmas record, “The Classic Christmas Album” (via Rate Your Music).
Antonia regularly tours with her father as the opening act to his shows and a duet partner during his performances. In 2019, she joined him on his “I Left My Heart” tour. Despite her dad’s massive success, she asserts that comparison to him has nothing to do with what she does and doesn’t feel intimidated by his achievements in the slightest. Her relationship with Tony is built rather upon love and harmony, as they share the common musical experience together. “I do kind of choose to stand in his light instead of his shadow,” she shared with the Chicago Tribune in 2019.
