Bukayo Saka is a major doubt for England’s friendly with Switzerland this weekend after sitting out training again on Thursday due to illness.
The Arsenal star trained on Tuesday but has since been too unwell to take part in sessions at St George’s Park.
He has therefore remained in his room, although so far he has tested negative for Covid-19, reports the Evening Standard.
Saka is likely to undergo further testing and, if the result remains negative, he could be involved in Tuesday’s outing against Ivory Coast at Wembley.

Having not trained with Gareth Southgate’s squad this week as he continues to recover, Saturday’s clash with Switzerland, also at Wembley, is expected to come too soon.
Saka’s illness has raised the possibility of him withdrawing from the squad entirely to focus on recovering in time for Arsenal’s next fixture against Crystal Palace on Monday 4 April.
The 20-year-old would not be the first player to pull out of England’s squad this month, as Southgate has also seen Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James, Tammy Abraham and Sam Johnstone withdraw.

Johnstone was initially brought in as a replacement for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who dropped out after sustaining a hip injury.
However, the Baggies shot-stopper was then forced to do the same after missing training on Tuesday due to illness.
Southampton’s Fraser Forster, who has not earned an England cap since May 2016, was called up to replace Johnstone on Wednesday.
His Saints team-mate Kyle Walker-Peters and Crystal Palace youngster Tyrick Mitchell earned their first call-ups after Alexander-Arnold and James’ withdrawals, while Ollie Watkins came in for the injured Abraham.
