FORMER Congresswoman Katie Hill shared a photo of her son, Finn, who was born seven weeks early.
Hill’s Twitter account has been filled with pics of her first child, thanking NICU parents for their “words of encouragement and advice.”

“So proud to welcome Finn to the world! He made a dramatic entry 7 weeks early but we’re so glad he’s healthy.” Hill shared on January 4.
“Please send love and prayers while Finn grows stronger in the NICU. Thank you all for the support.
The posts have prompted other NICU parents to share their stories in solidarity with Hill.
The former representative for California resigned from Congress on November 3, 2019 after a number of scandals came to light a month prior in October.
Hill admitted to being in a “throuple” relationship with her now-ex-husband Kenneth Heslep and a 22-year-old woman who was a staffer on her campaign.
She was later accused of a separate affair with her male legislative director, which forced an investigation by the House Ethics Committee and the Federal Election Commission.

Hill denied the affair and has expressed regret over her relationship with the 22-year-old.
“Would I ever do it again? No, absolutely not,” she told Axios on HBO.
“I let those boundaries blur, and that shouldn’t have happened,” Hill said. “Was it the right thing to do? No.”
In that same interview, Hill advised young people looking to run for office to be be authentic.
“If we want to have authentic politicians, if we want to have people who represent us that have real lived experience, and who haven’t been kind of sculpted as part of a political family, my hope is that we choose people who are not fake but that are real and that might have had messy lives.”
She said it’s “the question of our time” if people can have a past and run for elected positions.
POSSIBLE FUTURE RUN
Despite the fiasco ending her time in Congress, Hill says a future run for office is not out of the question, saying her scandal was “politically survivable.”
“You really wonder how much of it was the pressure I put on myself because I was a woman, and because I’d been an advocate for the #MeToo movement, and how much of it was sexism,” Hill told Axios.
“The public shaming aspect of it, the revenge-porn aspect of it,” Hill continued.
Hill said it would “take a lot” but she’s considering a potential run in the future.
She referenced two men in politics who are undergoing their own sex scandals as well – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Florida Representative Matt Gaetz.
