Martha Kalifatidis has revealed she’s still experiencing ‘weird, ugly, lingering symptoms’ from Covid-19 after testing positive to the virus two weeks ago.
The Married at First Sight star, 33, and her fiancé Michael Brunelli, 31, confirmed they had caught the virus on December 29 following a whirlwind trip to the US to celebrate their engagement.
And on Sunday, Martha said she still ‘feels like s**t’ in a candid Instagram video, explaining she has no sense of taste and no motivation to leave the house.

‘I know I have been so MIA on here, but if I am being honest I still feel pretty s**t after Covid and it has been over two weeks,’ she said.
‘I’ve just got all these weird, ugly, lingering symptoms. Like I don’t really do much, I can’t be bothered ever leaving the house. I still can’t taste, I still have blocked ears, blocked nose …
‘Anyway I am taking all the supplements and doing all the things but f**k I feel like s**t.’

She later shared a short clip of herself cooking, which she claims left her ‘puffed out’.
Martha and Michael previously spoke about their symptoms on Instagram after contracting the virus following a trip to the United States, despite both being double vaccinated.
‘Covid sucks. It is so f**king s**t. Some people are like, “It’s just a cold,” but it is a pretty s**t one. It’s like tonsillitis, gastro and the flu in one,’ said Martha.
She added that Michael did ‘projectile vomit’ at the start of his symptoms, which is quite uncommon.
‘I’ve just got all these weird, ugly, lingering symptoms. Like I don’t really do much, I can’t be bothered ever leaving the house. I still can’t taste, I still have blocked ears, blocked nose…’ Martha said
In a post on Instagram Stories last month, Michael revealed that he and Martha were sleeping separately because he’d been ‘going to war with my sheets, pillows and doona’.
But the following day, he said he’d finally had a good night’s sleep and didn’t experience any ‘cold sweats’.
‘Still have a little bit of a sore throat, but it’s getting better. A little bit nasally, a little bit lethargic, but still feel a lot better than yesterday,’ he added.
