BRITS flocked to bars and clubs across the nation on Friday as they drunk in the 34C scorcher.
Revellers were pictured necking drinks and going wild as the sun set on the hottest day of the year so far.
Partygoers in Leeds looked to have a skin full as they marched the streets on a hot hunt for a good time.
Others were pictured queuing up outside clubs as the mercury sizzled in the thermometers on what forecasters branded “Fiery Friday“.
While one woman delivered a Jackie Chan-style kick as she showed off her moves on a night out with pals.
And lads looked a tad sunburnt as they rolled through town supping lagers and having a giggle.
Meanwhile a man in a bowler hat with a lightbulb on top had the bright idea to leap frog over a bollard.
The celebrations also continued into the evening following a day at the races at Royal Ascot.
Sun kissed racegoers were pictured in their glad rags – and some looking rather worse for wear.
One bloke was snapped sprawled out on the road looking a little hot and bothered under the baking 34C Berkshire skies.

And it was perhaps all a bit much for one fella who appeared to be taking a nap on a grass verge outside the famous racecourse.
It came as the world-famous races broke with a lifetime tradition allowing blokes to rip their ties off because of the sweltering climes.
But the heat didn’t stop ladies dressing to impress as they dolled up in their finest clobber.
A whopping 250,000 Brits will attend the four day races which kicked off on Thursday.
It comes as the UK Health Security Agency and the Met Office has issued a level 3 heat health alert for London, the east of England and the south east amid the heatwave.
This alert follows the level 2 issued on Tuesday and confirms the Met Office’s threshold temperatures for an alert will be reached in three regions from Friday.
A level 2 alert remains in place for the East Midlands and South West.
Saturday is expected to remain warm for most – with temperatures ranging hitting 26C in the south east.
But the heatwave is expected to come to a soggy end as outbreaks of rain, with isolated thunder in the south-east, is due to arrive tonight.
And the weather is forecast to plummet right back down on Sunday as the UK is battered with more rain.
The Met Office says: “Look out for others, especially older people, young children and babies and those with underlying health conditions.
“Close curtains on rooms that face the sun to keep indoor spaces cooler and remember it may be cooler outdoors than indoors.
“Drink plenty of fluids and avoid excess alcohol, dress appropriately for the weather and slow down when it is hot.”
Sunday brings gloomy highs of 18C with lashings of rain across the British Isles.
