The actor stopped by “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on April to promote her upcoming project “Gaslit,” but things took a slight turn mid-interview when Colbert shared a photo of Roberts and Moder kissing. He applauded the pair for celebrating 20 years of marriage this year, and asked Roberts her secret to making it work. Roberts replied, “Well, you know the answer to that as well.” Yep, Colbert is another one of those rare Hollywood folk who has been married to his wife Evelyn McGee-Colbert for 28 years! Colbert then asked Roberts to share their secrets to a successful marriage. While Roberts said “kissing” keeps her marriage strong, Colbert said “apologizing.” The late-night host then apologized to his wife for not saying “kissing” like Roberts. How cute!
Robert and Moder have been through it all, and it’s hard to believe that their twins are ready to head off to college. During a recent appearance on Extra!, Roberts couldn’t help but share how excited she was for them. “It’s really thrilling, and I wasn’t lucky enough to have a college experience,” Roberts confessed. “And so to see how it’s happening for them is really fascinating.
