On Saturday, Norris had the pace to fight for midfield, while teammate Honey Badger didn’t have the same pace. Further, the 24-year-old is happy to qualify P5 for the race but wants to compete against the frontrunners, Ferrari and Red Bull.

Norris is still optimistic that he can score a podium like in Imola. The young Englishman believes Monaco is a tricky circuit and can always lead to uncertain results. On the possibility of finishing at the podium, he responded, “I want to be optimistic that the people above us have problems, but you never know.”
