Vince McMahon has often been regarded as a genius when it comes to pro wrestling. He transformed the company from regional success into a multinational company. Both he and former USA President Donald Trump share a close bond with other, which has been a talking point several times.

Mick Foley is often regarded as one of the most brilliant hardcore wrestlers of all time. The Hardcore Legend has entertained his fans over several years and remains equally popular.

However, he is also known for his outspoken nature and how he never is afraid of speaking out. Foley has always been loved by the fans because of his humble nature, and outstanding mic and wrestling abilities.

2020 saw Mick Foley openly speak against the then-US President Donald Trump. In an episode of The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast, Foley spoke about the nature of speaking against Donald Trump and how it affected his relationship with Vince McMahon.

It is popularly known how much close Vince McMahon and Donald Trump are. When the host of the podcast asked Foley, if his actions led to fall in the relationship between him and McMahon, Foley answered swiftly. He said, “Well, I think Vince has respected my viewpoint for a couple decades now. I don’t think, deep down, he wants everybody to agree with him just because he’s Mr. McMahon.”

Foley claimed that Vince respected their point of view and did not force his perspective on them. He further stated, “I can honestly say I haven’t lost a single friend in wrestling. I went and campaigned for Glenn Jacobs because I think Glenn is a really good man, and that’s what we should be.” 

The WWE Hall of Famer believed that no matter which political party one supports, they should still live in harmony and not be at each other’s throats all the time because of their different opinions.

Mick Foley helping Becky Lynch on her special project

Becky Lynch is currently writing her autobiography. The mother of one began writing this during her pregnancy in 2020. Lynch received help from her close friend, Mick Foley, who also is a multi-time New York Times bestselling author.

Mick Foley is himself an established author and has published several books and autobiographies to his name. Speaking on his podcast, ‘Foley is Pod‘, he revealed his contribution to Lynch’s project. He quoted, “Becky is working on a memoir of her own. I’m kinda providing a little bit of counsel there for her.” 

Foley revealed he has only read a few chapters out of Lynch’s book and has found it to be good till that point. Further, he stated he would provide more feedback when he gets on further with her book.
