ANDERSON Cooper welcomed his second son named Sebastian with his former partner Benjamin Maisani about two years after having their first baby boy Wyatt.
Anderson, 54, made the joyous announcement during his nearly-four-minute CNN segment.

Don Lemon tweeted: “Congratulations! Sebastian is lucky to have you as a dad!”
The CNN host wanted to start the show with “good news,” which also happened to be “personal news.”
He mentioned that his first son Wyatt is now about 22 months old.
He described Wyatt as “the great joy in my life.”
His one-year-old son “now has a baby brother.”
Anderson went on: “His name is Sebastian and I would like you to meet him.”

The broadcast journalist then shared a sweet photo of Sebastian as he stared at the camera.
The political commentator mentioned that Sebastian’s hiccups “are even adorable.”
He described his second child as a “wise and thoughtful little chap.”
The Mole host explained that his two kids “would be raised by me and my best friend and former partner Benjamin Maisani.
“We’re co-parents. We are a family.”
Benjamin is also “in the process of adopting Wyatt.”
‘NEW LOVE’
Anderson thanked his surrogate who gave birth to Sebastian: “The sacrifices she and her entire family made – and the love they gave to Sebastian this past year – has been extraordinary.”
The broadcaster promised that he would never “forget her kindness, all of her family, and the surrogates who help bring new life and new love into the world.”
‘WATCHING OVER US’
He imagined his late family members – from his mother to brother who all passed away – “smiling and joyful at” Sebastian’s birth.
Anderson noted: “I have felt them watching over us very strongly. I already feel the love for Sebastian.”
After sharing a heartfelt quote from his late father, The Rainbow Comes and Goes author said he would be taking weeks off “to be with my kids.”
Anderson closed the segment with: “I wish you love and laughter, good thoughts, and happy days.”
PAST RELATIONSHIP
Benjamin and Anderson had previously dated for about 10 years before breaking up back in 2018.
The two though have decided to remain in each other’s lives.
The former couple welcomed their first child, Wyatt, in 2020, also via a surrogate.
The CNN anchor described their relationship in a 2021 feature in People as “probably an unusual setup.
“But I knew he would be a great dad, and he is.”
Although Cooper admitted he had grown up in a single-parent household, he wished for his son to have a different experience.
