CHERYL has posted a rare snap of herself as she tucked into a birthday cake to celebrate her special day.
The former Girls Aloud star took to her social media to post the selfie, as she struck a pout for her fans on Thursday afternoon.

Cheryl, 39, looked stunning as she struck a pout towards the camera, tucking into a large slice of chocolate and cream cake.
She pulled the cheeky face, showing off her smokey eye make-up look, perfectly groomed brows and pink lip gloss.
The singing star wore a white turtleneck top and a cream jumper, tying her long brunette hair up into a messy bun.
“Thank you so much for all the lovely birthday wishes,” Cheryl wrote to her Instagram following. “I think I’ve had the best one yet.

Her friends and fans flooded the comments section to wish Cheryl a “happy birthday”, including Emmerdale star Amy Walsh.
“Happy Birthday gorgeous one,” she wrote, as a TikTok star added: “Happy Birthday Queen.”
It comes shortly after Cheryl wowed in a plunging top for a rare public appearance as she reunited with Nicola Roberts.

The pair attended the Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World press night tonight at the Theatre Royal Stratford East.
Earlier this month, Cheryl also made a rare return to social media to announce she was taking part in a charity run.
She revealed she would be running alongside the rest of Girls Aloud in memory of late star Sarah Harding.
Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola revealed plans for a fundraising campaign in partnership with Cancer Research UK.
An emotional Cheryl explained: “Around this time last year when Sarah was really sick, we were desperately trying to find way to help and comfort her.
“You feel so helpless at times like that. One of the only things she really wanted was a gala dinner.
‘While that’s underway and we are doing that, we felt like we could be doing more. We’ve decided to do Race for Life for Sarah at Hyde Park on 24th July.

“I know so many of you want to support her and we’d really love it if you could join us. Walk with us for five miles, but also don’t worry if you can’t join us, people are doing it virtually too.
