Corrie fans gobsmacked at the value of Fiz & Tyrone’s house

Viewers learned how much No.9 was worth after came Tyrone (Alan Halsall) agreed to sell the property as Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) passed down to him from Jack and Vera Duckworth.

Fiz got a valuation from a real estate agent, having told Tyrone she needed the money that she had put into the house over the years back to contribute to the renovations of her new home with Phil.

The estate agent delighted Fiz when he told her it would be priced from £150,000 – £175,000.

However, people at home said he’d gone way over the top.

One person tweeted: “I’m no estate agent but that place is not worth £150,000 it’s stuck in the 80s.”

Another viewer scoffed: “£150,000 I don’t think so,” while a third person remarked: “£175 as opposed to £175k.”

Someone else tweeted: “£175,000 for Fizz’s house? I knew that Co-Op and Costa coffee were signs Weatherfield was being gentrified!”
