Liam has gone through a tense few months in the eponymous village from losing his daughter Leanna to serial killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) making his life hectic.
But in upcoming scenes of the iconic show, Liam is floored to see that his professional integrity as general practitioner is on the line.
Liam and Wendy Posner (played by Susan Cookson) are horrified and panicked when they come across a series of abusive comments on their practice’s website.
Could this have a link with Meena’s actions and fate?

ITV viewers remember that the sinister nurse was thrown into prison after returning to the Dales in time to crash Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor’s wedding.
After kidnapping the couple and taking them to a remote viaduct, Meena shot Liam’s wife Leyla who had a hunch something was wrong after the newlyweds mysteriously vanished from their own big day.
Later on, Meena came face to face with Liam when attempting a discreet escape and the pair found themselves on the same bridge Leanna was pushed to her death from.
Liam lost his cool after Meena taunted him and gave her the same treatment Leanna was given on her 18th birthday.
A witness to the scene and as a survivor of the chaos Meena has pushed into her life, Manpreet decides to help Liam by claiming he acted in self-defence.
In doing so, Manpreet and Liam both lied to the police while Meena was accusing the latter of attempted murder.

Meena has since been charged with murder, although she is desperately trying to claw her way out of her captivity by manipulating Emmerdale residents.
Spoilers have confirmed Manpreet could also pay the price of her sister’s revenge.
Meena also worked at Liam’s practice as a nurse and as she has been arrested for her vile crimes, could her murderous rampage have led to a patient taking their anger out on Liam?
