Harry Styles provided an extremely coy response to a question posed about falling in love with his girlfriend Olivia Wilde.

The singer, 28, who said he had a ‘wonderful’ experience being directed by Olivia, 38, on the upcoming psychological film Don’t Worry Darling, was asked directly if he fell in love with her on the set.

‘Oh, wow… how to answer this question?’ he said on Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday.

The former One Direction and X Factor star was quick to heap praise onto the filmmaker during the interview.

Harry explained to the New York-based radio show: ‘Acting is kind of very uncomfortable at times.

‘I think you have to trust a lot. It requires a lot of trust if you want to kind of give it everything, and I think being able to trust your director is a gift, so that was very helpful.’

The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker added that all of this combined ‘meant for a really nice experience’ working on the film, which has a scheduled release date for September 23.

Recent reports have suggested that Olivia and Harry are getting very serious after she introduced the pop star to her two children, Otis, seven, and Daisy, five.

Insiders have claimed that despite it looking like a ‘showbiz hook up’ at first, it has become clear that the loved-up couple are much more than that.

Harry, who has previously dated a slew of celebrity girlfriends, has allegedly never been so serious about anyone before, reports The Sun.

A source said: ‘This looked like quite a showbizzy thing at first, two glamorous people hooking up but now it’s obviously a lot more than that.

‘They held back a bit at first but now that things are more settled the time was right to do the next thing.
