And, This Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary were left in shock as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly burst into the TV studio to surprise them live on air, during the latest instalment.
The Geordie duo – dressed in their finest clothes – barged their way into the ITV daytime studio during its live broadcast banging cymbals, blowing whistles and covering everything in confetti to announce the return of Saturday Night Takeaway.

Alison was initially terrified by the intrusion, but soon realised who had entered the studio and began laughing with Dermot.
Once the co-hosts had recovered from the initial shock, Ant announced: ‘I tell you what we’re doing… Saturday Night Takeaway is back on tomorrow night!’
Dec added: ‘We were actually just passing, we were on our way to film something for tomorrow nights show…

‘But we just wanted to remind you and everybody because we had a week off last week because of the rugby, so we just wanted to remind you all that we’re back tomorrow night at 7pm.’
Laughing, Ant said: ‘We normally see you in the tea bar don’t we after you finish the show, but we thought we’d interrupt your show!’
Dec added: ‘Literally we are leaving now…but we’ve got Anna Maxwell Martin from Motherland and Line of Duty, she’s our star guest announcer…’

Ant said: ‘…and Michael Buble is doing our end of the show, show! Anyway, we’ll let you be. Sorry about that. ‘
After the pair marched back out of the studio, Alison said: ‘Gosh, I didn’t expect that… What just happened?’
As well as what Ant and Dec announced, the pair will also be joined by Fleur East and Andi Peters on the popular weekend show.
