Lisa Maffia has shared the results of her hair transplant after having the procedure a year ago to replenish the locks she ‘ruined’ with overstyling.
The So Solid Crew star, 42, told how the transplant has ‘changed her life’ after her hair began to fall out after years of scraping it back into different styles.
Lisa posted a video montage on her Instagram page on Tuesday, showcasing a before and after look at what her hair looked like.

Lisa praised the procedure and said her hairline looks ‘lit’ after having the gruelling treatment to transform her receding tresses into much fuller-looking locks.
The procedure involves taking hair follicles from the back of the head – where hair is at its fullest and thickest – and placing them at the front of the hairline.
Speaking about how she feels after having the treatment, Lisa explained in the caption of her social media post how she has ‘no regrets’.
The first image showed the side of her head and the bloodied marks where incisions had been made into her scalp to add new follicles.

Lisa also posted pictures of herself wearing bandages as her scalp healed after the treatment.
At the end of the video, Lisa appeared delighted as she showed off her full head of hair to her followers.
Discussing her journey, she wrote: ‘MY HAIR TRANSPLANT JOURNEY
‘One year ago I had a hair transplant and here are my amazing results! I done mine right here in the UK, in a great place in London. Affordable and the best in the UK!

‘It’s changed my life, I ruined my hairline with my signature 90s pigtails and then hair extensions and after years of tugging my hair got thinner and thinner, just like the first image you can see here!
‘The second image is the very first day it was done right after my surgery. It’s not as painful as it looks I didn’t feel a thing!
‘The second image is just two days after surgery, it was already healing!
‘Image five is the donor area, and image six is what was going on underneath there it’s completely bored because that’s where they actually take the follicles from!
