Pia Muehlenbeck and Kane Vato are the latest influencers to test positive for Covid, revealing they were both due for their booster shots.
In separate posts on their respective Instagram Stories on Friday, the married couple revealed they were sick in bed after being struck down by the virus.
‘Got Covid,’ Pia, 30, captioned a sad-looking Boomerang video of herself lying in bed, asking her followers for ‘Netflix suggestions’.

‘Can’t believe I’m ending 2021 with Covid. Spent two years doing my best to avoid it and now it’s unavoidable here in Australia.
‘I’ve got: fever, not able to sleep, terrible body pains, headache, no taste, no smell. Major brain fog is the weird one.’
In a second post on Instagram Stories, Pia shared another Boomerang video, this time with the couple’s faithful dog, Muesli, lying beside her.

‘My little fluffy friend is looking after me,’ she captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Kane, 30, wrote, ‘Guess who got Covid,’ and drew an arrow pointing to himself.
He then proceeded to list off both his and Pia’s symptoms so far, which differed slightly.

‘Pia has: major fever, body aches, no taste, no smell, cough, migraine,’ he wrote.
‘I have: major fever, body aches, not sleeping, cough, wheezing and weirdly, vomiting. So strange that we have different symptoms, but damn it’s painful.’
He added: ‘Annoyingly, we are both due our booster shot, so we were at our weakest as far as vaccinations go.’
