Melissa Rawson welcomed her twin boys Levi and Tate with her fiancé Bryce Ruthven in October.
But the former Married at First Sight bride revealed one of the biggest struggles she’s faced since becoming a new mother in an Instagram Q&A on Thursday is sleep deprivation.
‘I have to say honestly, motherhood is just amazing and I love my twins more than anything. I have a new love for Bryce, it’s just so amazing. But…’ the 32-year-old began after being asked by a follower how she was coping with motherhood.

‘I know that having newborns, even one baby, you will not get any sleep, especially in that newborn phase. But this is a whole new level for me.’
Rawson said she gets roughly on average ‘an hour and a half to two hours’ of sleep per night, which makes her wake up in the morning and feel ‘so awful’.
‘Even with Bryce helping me, I just get that mum hearing where every noise that they make I’m awake and I just can’t get back to sleep.’

‘I know this won’t last forever, I know this is just temporary with them being newborns and this phase will end soon, but it’s so hard,’ the reality TV star added.
Mel’s confession of her struggles comes as she recently revealed that she’s also been targeted by ‘mum shamers’ who criticised her for being at a celebrity boxing match with Bryce in Melbourne last month.
Melissa and Bryce attended the event two weeks after bringing their prematurely-born twin sons home from the hospital – something that sparked backlash among online trolls.

Speaking on her What Happens After… podcast, Melissa said: ‘Wow, I’ve never ever felt so attacked, hurt and humiliated by other people on social media.
‘You know, how I should be raising my children or what I should be doing or, you know, where I can go … I thought everything after MAFS was bad. This is worse.’
‘I copped hate during MAFS, but this is a different level of hate,’ she continued

‘Wow… You’re definitely entitled to your opinion, but don’t sprout your own personal opinions and beliefs onto my page because I have no issues with blocking you.’
Melissa said she and Bryce are doing their best as parents, and that she’s thankful to have such a supportive network around them.
‘I’m so sensitive to what other people say… people that are nasty and so opinionated and hurtful, you don’t know the harm that you’re doing.’
