Brandon Rolfe, of Syracuse, New York, was arrested at 12 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in connection with the Armory Square shooting, which claimed one life and injured four others.

The Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office has identified the suspect as Brandon Rolfe.

Officers arrived to the 300 block of South Clinton Street after hearing multiple gunshots at 12:13 a.m. Saturday, according to spectrumlocalnews.
Brandon is charged with one count of murder, four counts of attempted murder, and criminal weapon possession.
A 24-year-old man was pronounced deceased at Upstate University Hospital, according to Syracuse Police.
One individual remains in serious condition, while the other three have non-life threatening injuries.
He will stay in custody until his hearing on Wednesday morning at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
Brandon Rolfe Was Arrested For Armory Square Shooting
After a detective investigation, many witness interviews, and the acquisition of physical evidence from the scene, Rolfe was identified as a suspect in the shooting.
Syracuse resident Brandon Rolfe is suspected of shooting five people in the 300 block of South Clinton Street.
On Tuesday morning, Rolfe surrendered to detectives at the Public Safety Building without incident.
Akok Lual, 24, of Syracuse, was the only person killed in the shooting. On Saturday, Lual, Akok’s younger brother, was also shot in Armory Square.
The three other victims, who had non-life threatening injuries, have not been identified by police.
