Papa Bear is stealing hearts on his mom’s Instagram page. Nicki Minaj shared a video clip of her son having his hair braided while playing with toys and enjoying snacks.
“Fly guy,” Stevie J said of Niki’s baby boy. “Papa Bear is everything,” another social media follower declared.
Nicki Minaj became a mom for the first time in 2020. The rapper hid her pregnancy from the public until she was in the final stages of her expectancy. Nicki and her husband, Kenneth Petty, gave their son a Kung Fu Panda themed party last fall.
“On Sept. 30th you turned 1,” Nicki wrote to her son. “Mama is so proud of you, PapaBear,” the celebrity mom said. “You’re the best boy in the whole wide world. I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but God bless you, son. Mommy and Daddy will never stop loving you.”
Motherhood has changed everything about Nicki Minaj. “I think motherhood has made me see more good in people, see more good in the universe,” the recording artist said during a recent interview with James Corden of The Late Late Show. “It makes you a little bit more of a forgiving person,” Minaj shared.
“When I look at my son, I’m reminded that I am so blessed,” Nicki told the talk show host. “We are so blessed, y’all,” she exclaimed. “I realized, for so many women, this is their dream. Their dream is to have a child and not everybody gets that blessing. So when you have a little baby, you are reminded every day like, ‘Oh my God. Thank you, God, for this little gift.’”
Nicki Minaj shared an explicit video of herself with her husband a few weeks ago that made some believe they were planning to have another child. Nicki and Kenneth, however, have not officially announced any plans for their family’s expansion.
