TWO individuals have been arrested after a child boy died 4 days after being rushed to hospital.
Police have been scrambled to a house in Hapton, Lancs, final Tuesday following stories a toddler had suffered a medical episode.
The tot was rushed to Royal Manchester Hospital however sadly couldn’t be saved and died 4 days later.
A 60-year-old girl and a 77-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of part 18 assault.
They have since been launched on bail pending additional enquiries.
Officers haven’t launched the age of the newborn boy.
Lancashire Police stated: “We have been referred to as round 1.20pm on Tuesday, March 1st, to an handle in Hapton, following stories a child had suffered a medical episode.
“Emergency providers attended and the kid was taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital for therapy, nevertheless he sadly handed away on March fifth.

“His household are actually being supported by specially-trained officers.
