COPS have launched a murder investigation after a woman was found stabbed to death this morning in Birmingham.
West Midlands Police have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
His arrest follows the death of a woman who was found with stab wounds at an address on Mount Pleasant in Small Heath, south-east Birmingham.
Cops were alerted at around 12.30am this morning.
Sadly, the woman in her 20s died at the scene and an investigation immediately started.
Early this morning a blue tent could be seen outside a property and forensic investigators in white suits were combing the scene for clues.
A spokeswoman for the force couldn’t confirm to The Sun the age of the woman that had died.
It is thought the woman and the man who was arrested may have known each other but this was not confirmed by the force.
Cops have appealed for anyone with information to come forward
