The mother-daughter duo rose to fame in the 1980s and early 1990s. According to the Country Music Hall of Fame, The Judds had massive success with 14 songs to reach the top of the charts and five Grammy wins. With songs like “Love Can Build a Bridge” and “Mama He’s Crazy,” Naomi and Wynonna Judd solidified themselves as country music legends. Naomi’s impact on the music world had many fellow country artists posting sweet tributes on social media immediately after hearing of her death. 

Maren Morris wrote, “Honored to have witnessed ‘Love Can Build a Bridge’ just a few short weeks ago,” after watching The Judds perform at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. Travis Tritt, who starred in the TV movie “Rio Diablo” in 1993 with Naomi, shared on Twitter, “This is heartbreaking news! Naomi Judd was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known.”
