During the “Love Is Blind” reunion episode, Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl appeared together, still happily married. In an interview with People, Nick said, “We’re in couples counseling and we have been now, for almost the entire time since we’ve finished [the show].” He and his wife, Danielle, have been working on their marriage since exchanging vows at the end of Season 2 of “Love Is Blind.” Couples therapy is no cause for concern for this couple, as both Nick and Danielle cite their reasons for seeking counseling as wanting to work on their foundation in order to build a connection that lasts for a lifetime.
Danielle described the format of “Love Is Blind” as a “pressure cooker environment” for cultivating a relationship, explaining that the couple fell in love so quickly because they both knew that staying married was the goal in the end. She explained how this led to some of the major fights fans saw throughout the series, saying (via Us Weekly), “Him and I fell in love so quickly and because we both knew at the end of the day we wanted to stay together.” With so much focus on their marriage, these two appear to be going strong.
