A TRAVELODGE worker has branded messy hotel guests as “animals” after revealing the state of a messy room.
Syma H, who claims she is employee at the hospitality company, posted footage of the filthy room on TikTok.

She captioned the video: “What I see as a Travelodge worker. If you leave your room like this you are an animal.”
The clip shows the room littered with trash and rubbish, including cigarette boxes, wrappers and empty bottles.
The bathroom is no better where there is visible muck in the sink as well as a toilet that appears not to have been flushed.
The video, which has since received more than 27,000 likes, garnered plenty of reaction from shocked users online.

Many appeared to agree with the worker’s damning assessment of the guests.
One user said: “I don’t get how ppl were raised to be like this. I always leave the hotels like I wasn’t even there other than piling up the linens.”
A second penned: “And here I am wondering if I should fold the used towels or just leave them in the bathtub.”
A third commented: “I always try and leave my room like I haven’t even been in them!”

While a fourth added: “I hope they get charged a clean-up fee because that’s not reasonable.”
However, others suggested it wasn’t the employee’s place to expose the state of the room – arguing it should have been dealt with privately by the hotel.
One user said: “People should have to pay a deposit to cover stuff like this.”
While a second pointed out: “The hotel has their card details to charge them for a deep clean.”
