Tammin Sursok has recalled the moment she thought she would lose her husband Sean McEwen to Covid-19.
In a post shared to Instagram this week, the 38-year-old actress paid tribute to her husband of a decade, on the day they renewed their wedding vows.
She wrote: ‘To dear Sean, on our 10 year wedding anniversary. We almost lost you a year ago. I remember driving down the street and my heart started breaking.

‘I don’t remember a memory without you in it. Without loving you, without us laughing or surviving or dreaming or needing each other. My memories are you.’
She continued: ‘Eating frozen cherries in Turkey, waking up at 4am to the Cambodian sunrise, getting seasick on a boat in the Seychelles, sleeping with our babies in the hospital at one day old, making movies together in the heat of Oklahoma, living through a pandemic…
‘Us together, walking through life, though better or worse, in sickness and in health.’

Sean almost lost his battle with Covid-19 when he contracted the virus last year.
Tammin told Daily Mail Australia in August that seeing her husband so sick was ‘one of the worst experiences I’ve been through’ and admitted she ‘didn’t know if he was going to pull through’.
Sean battled coronavirus in January and ended up losing 6.8kg during his illness.
‘It was awful. It was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve been through. I didn’t know if he was going to pull through,’ Tammin said.

‘Day eight to ten was so difficult. He had a fever that was so high it didn’t break for two and a half weeks.’
‘It took him months to recover,’ she added. ‘He had hallucinations. It was such a hard thing to navigate and we’re really grateful that’s he’s okay.’
The couple, who married in 2011, share two daughters, Phoenix, seven, and Lennon, two.

They renewed their vows in front of loved ones in a picture-perfect beach setting on the Gold Coast, in Queensland, on December 23.
The South African-born actress returned to Australia earlier this year with her husband and their daughters.
The couple had spent the past decade living in Los Angeles.
