Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green paid a visit to ‘The Daily Show with Trevor Noah’. He discussed his podcast ‘The Draymond Green’ show. He talked about winning another championship for the Golden State Warriors. Draymond also talked about teammates Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry and how the world has not understood Klay yet. According to Draymond, the world doesn’t know how wild Klay is.
Trevor Noah asked Draymond questions pertaining to being ruled out as championship contenders. Green talked about beefing with the Boston fans and how trash talking in the NBA is. He also talked about how the fourth championship was unique to him.
Draymond Green reveals Klay is Wild
Trevor Noah asked the Warriors star how he keeps his game fair and yet brings the competitiveness. Noah said, “The Golden State Warriors are an amazing team, but you guys have like a bit of a Christian youth group vibe about you. Do you know what I mean? No, especially like Klay and Steph, and like, you are the bad guy of the group…”
Draymond Green took the opportunity to change the misconception about Klay. Green admitted what Noah said is true about Stephen Curry, but not Klay Thompson. Draymond said, “Now Klay, I think everybody kinda has Klay misunderstood. Klay is a little wild. Like, Klay will go off the rail a little bit…” Then Green touched on the misconception that light-skinned guys are soft. He said that there were times in the NBA Finals when he was soft and Steph. Green continued, “So, I think, you know, it’s maybe time to change the misconception.”
Klay Thomson’s return to the Golden State Warriors and his ruthless demeanor on the court fueled the Warriors’ Championship run. Interestingly, they failed to make the play-off in every season that he was dealing with an injury.

Thompson’s wild side often comes out on the court in his shooting stats. Often Klay let his emotions and anger take control and that is probably the wild side Draymond was talking about. In a post-game interview, Klay admitted, “I played angry, I played angry. Then Andre grabbed me at the end of the game and said ‘Keep your composure!’…”
