Tyson Fury will not come up with a game plan on how to beat Dillian Whyte until hours before they meet in the ring, reveals his trainer SugarHill Steward.

The Gypsy King will put his WBC heavyweight title on the line against Whyte at Wembley on April 23, in what he is claiming will be his last ever fight.

Fury is already hard at work training for the fight and has come off social media in the build-up to the blockbuster bout out of respect for fellow Brit Whyte.

But while Fury is giving the fight his full undivided attention, Steward has revealed that the 33-year-old will not be giving any sort of game plan a second’s thought until he’s lacing up his gloves at Wembley.

‘Tyson is just whatever he feels,’ Steward told BT Sport.

‘I don’t know what the opponent, Dillian, is thinking. Maybe he has a plan when he sees him.

‘Tyson doesn’t have a plan. It’s just whatever feedback he gets from the person in front of him is where he’ll go from there.’

Whyte has finally been given his long-overdue chance to face Fury after beating Alexander Povetkin last year with a stunning TKO win.

And while Fury is considered the favourite for the fight, Steward is refusing to rule out Whyte’s chances of a surprise win.

He said: ‘Listen, this is the heavyweight division, the most exciting division in boxing. Everybody has a chance.’

Fury overcame Deontay Wilder twice to become world heavyweight champion once again last February, and while Whyte may have a puncher’s chance, Steward is predicting an emphatic finish for the Gypsy King.

‘Knockout. Knockouts always, knockout time. Every fight, I’m preparing Tyson to knock somebody out,’ Steward said when asked for a prediction of the April 23 fight.

‘We bring in the proper sparring to sometimes simulate the opponent, but just to give different looks as well.

‘So it’s not just to have different sparring that’s mimicking the opponent.

‘I don’t want to go too deep into my strategy and my bag of wisdom, but there is some kind of science to my madness.’
