Kimberly Wyatt has revealed that Dancing On Ice has helped re-spark her marriage with Max Rogers as she admits she feels ‘confident’ once again.

The former Pussycat Doll, 39, first met her husband Max 11 years ago when he danced at Clothes Show Live and they have been attached ever since.

However, Kimberly explained that the show can be ‘hard’ on a marriage but luckily for her the British-born model seems to be falling in love with her all over again.

Max – who shares daughters Willow, seven, and Maple, five, as well as two-year-old son Ford – fell head over heels for the dancer after watching her perform.

In an interview with The Sun, Kimberly said: ‘You know, Max fell in love with me because he saw me on stage dancing and he was just, like . . . he loves what I do.

‘So to re-spark that love and remind us of where we started . . . as hard as this experience (Dancing On Ice) could be on a marriage, my husband has been unbelievable and supportive, and I can’t wait to run back into his arms and when the final is over, sort of respark our lives.

Kimberly revealed that after a decade of babies and breastfeeding it is the ice that has now rekindled their love.

During her 30’s she was a full time mum and lost her passion for performing but it’s clear to see that DOI has brought out the Pussycat Doll inside of her.

She also admits she has her abs back, making her feel more ‘confident’ and secure in her own skin.

While reflecting on her DOI experience so far she said: ‘Having turned 40 on the ice, and having the rest of our lives to look forward to in a space where I feel confident is a nice place to be. It’s just really given me a whole new lease of life.’

The singer is now determined to get back to her old training routine and get back to dancing how she used to in the hope she can keep her toned physique once the show comes to an end.

Kimberly takes every chance she gets to succeed in the industry and Dancing On Ice is no exception as she is set to take part in the live final.

She began dancing at age seven, and at 14 earned a scholarship to study at New York’s Joffrey Ballet School.

The star traded in her dancing shoes for a pair of ice skate’s and she’ll take to the rink one final time on Sunday.

She is known for her raunchy dance moves and has incorporated many of these into her performances, as well as embracing a softer, more balletic moves — a side of her that she thought she had lost for ever.

Kimberly – whose childhood dream was to become an ice skater – will now go head-to-head against New Zealander Brendan, 45, and Regan, 26.

The finalists will perform four numbers for the judges, including a showdance — for which Kimberly plans a piece dedicated to her younger self.

As pro dancers, all three finalists have pushed the limits of what celebs can achieve on the show.

Dancing On Ice Live Final, Sunday at 7pm on ITV.
