Australian TV presenter and weatherman Stevie Jacobs went wild in a smash room in Albion Park during a live segment on Studio 10 this week.
The 55-year-old hinted at his pain from his divorce and made fun of his TV career when he smashed up a series of items including a vase and flat screen TV in front of viewers on Wednesday’s show.
In the eyebrow-raising segment, Stevie said he’d ‘turned into an animal’ letting out his ‘pent-up frustration and aggression,’ and joked that going to a smash room was ‘cheaper than therapy’.

‘I thought I was a pretty calm sort of a guy… and then I get down here and it turns out I’m an absolute animal,’ he said.
‘I have so much pent-up frustration and aggression and just want to beat stuff up. It’s very, very satisfying.’
After a host in the smash room said that a group of women recently came in to smash stuff up as part of a divorce party, Stevie laughed.

‘There’s always something to celebrate!’ he quipped.
Hinting at the demise of his own marriage to ex Rose Jacobs, he added: ‘It’s much cheaper than therapy at $250 an hour, not sure how I know that!’
He also seemingly made fun of his TV career, adding: ‘If you have issues with someone you can use that and imagine those issues going away. If there’s problems with a person, an ex, family member, TV executive… anyone you have issues with is imagine that right there, grab the baseball bat and do this [before smashing an object].’

‘I’m feeling a little bit angry at the moment,’ he said.
He also jokingly smashed up a framed picture of Studio 10 host Tristan McManus.

In an article for Whimn, the television host admitted she suffered from anxiety and depression in the wake of her tumultuous marriage breakdown.
‘Two years ago I decided to leave my unhappy marriage, after years of trying desperately to make it work,’ she wrote.
‘As a result of this separation, I’ve experienced plenty of anxiety and depression, often blaming and questioning myself.’

The mother-of-two also acknowledged the financial implications of her separation.
‘I struggle to get by week by week as a single mum relying on Centrelink for child support and working in a job that sounds glamorous but is inconsistent and not exactly high paying,’ she explained.
Rose and Stevie had relocated to Vanuatu with their daughters in mid-2017, in what friends say was a ‘last-ditch attempt’ to save their marriage.
However, things fell apart within a few months and, following their split, Rose enjoyed a brief fling with Canadian former commando Dylan Nash.
Rosie was last in a relationship with Alex Daly, and they were together for at least 11 months. However, it remains unclear if the pair are still together or not.
