FANS of Michelle Keegan are certain she will be revealed as one of the celebrities taking part in The Masked Singer after spotting vital clues.

The soap star has been tipped by the judges and viewers at home as possibly being behind the mask of character Firework in the new series.

Fans of the former Coronation Street actress are certain she will be unmasked on the show after noting clues that led them to “figuring out” her identity.

Even judge Jonathan Ross was certain that the cryptic hints given by the masked celebrity pointed towards Firework being Michelle, 34.

The mystery star called themselves a “pocket rocket” in week one, as well as linking themselves to “style”, fashion and design.

Saturday night’s show saw the clues become more cryptic, as they hinted at being a “gold medal winner” as well as an extremely “sporty” individual.

Elsewhere, a pair of ice skates were spotted – as well as possible links towards reality TV or gameshow appearances made throughout.

“I’ve always been a pocket rocket, a total bundle of energy, but that’s my style. Maybe that’s because fireworks are designed to make people smile,” they said.

“I light up the street with a different kind of flash,” the mystery celeb added, as wooden human and dog figurine were flashed on screen.

Viewers flooded Twitter to insist that the mystery celebrity was Michelle, due to her success of being picked from “900 applicants” for her Corie role.

“Firework sounds so much like Michelle Keegan,” one wrote, as a second chimed in: “Michelle Keegan beat 900 other people to get the role of Tina on Corrie.”

“Firework is Michelle Keegan – she beat 900 people for her role and broke off her engagement with Max,” a third fan penned.

“Definitely Michelle Keegan, no doubt whatsoever,” a fourth concluded, as a fifth agreed: “Firework is 100% Michelle Keegan.”

It comes after Masked Singer fans were left convinced they had worked out the identity of Firework – insisting it’s one of Rita Ora’s pals.

Firework wowed judges on the ITV show with an energetic performance of Jessie J’s Domino – and Rita told them: “I love, love, love your energy.”

But despite the varying guesses from the judges, one user on Reddit thinks they’ve worked out exactly who is behind Firework’s mask – singer Pixie Lott.

Pointing out four possible clues, the user said that the two cats could be a nod to her fans who call themselves crazy cats.

They also noticed there was a video game controller which they claimed could be because Pixie once re-recorded her hit single Mama Do for The Sims.

The Reddit poster added: “There’s a lot of ‘model’ talk in the VT and Pixie does her fair share of modelling and goes to London fashion week.

“We also know there’s someone [in the competition] Rita knows quite well and I think Pixie would fit that bill as they were both pretty popular in the mid 2010s.”
