Rock The Bells 2022: Who is in the lineup?
On April 4, 2022, LL Cool J took to his social media pages to break the news of Rock the Bells’ return.
The rapper said on Instagram and Twitter: “Don’t call it a comeback. ROCK THE BELLS FESTIVAL – August 6 – Queens, New York.”
The hip-hop hitmaker also stated in a press release: “This festival is my way of showing love to the community of hip-hop and celebrating the incredible journey this culture has taken, going from DJ Kool Herc’s Sedgwick Avenue rec room, to the global phenomenon we all cherish today.”
“Getting to bring some of the most iconic and influential hip-hop artists to the same stage, in my hometown and the city that started it all, is an honor and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store for them.”
The festival’s comeback is almost a decade in the making, the last edition of Rock the Bells was held in September 2012.
Along with the hip-hop extravaganza’s release date reveal, some of the musicians from the lineup were also announced.

For music enthusiasts who would like to attend, there are a number of ways to obtain tickets.
For fans who would prefer to secure their tickets at an earlier convenience, the pre-sale registration went live on Monday, April 4, through the Rock the Bells website.
The actual pre-sale commences on Thursday, April 7 at 10pm EDT.
General admission goes on sale on Friday, April 8, through the same official website.
