Lord Alan Sugar will have a new aide in the next series of The Apprentice – despite him being a business flop.
Tim Campbell MBE, who won the first ever series, will replace Claude Littner while he recovers from injuries sustained in a cycling accident.
Campbell is being promoted as a marketing expert though checks reveal that his company was dissolved in June with just £5 in the bank.

He was the co-managing director of a firm called Marketing Runners Limited which was dissolved via compulsory strike-off on 29 June 2021, according to official records at Companies House.
The reasons behind the move have not been explained but it can be due to directors failing to file paperwork.
The last set of accounts for the firm covered the year to 31 December 2019 had no tangible assets and held just £5 in cash at the bank.

Total net assets of £5 in 2019 were a change from the previous year when the company report its worth was only £4,046.
The figure was £4,906 in 2017, there were net liabilities of £1,881 in 2016 following the incorporation of the firm in December 2015.
He was also a director of a charity called Bright Ideas Trust, along with former Sugar aide Margaret Mountford until she resigned in 2018.

That too was dissolved via compulsory strike-off in March 2021 after filing accounts as a dormant company in June 2020.
It reports zero assets and zero reserves in 2020 and 2019, after reporting total net assets of £54,493 in 2018.
