Who is Bad Bunny and how old is he?

Born On March 10, 1994, Bad Bunny was born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio in Puerto Rico.

Following the success of his many reggaeton, pop, and crossover releases from 2016 and beyond, Bad Bunny saw his star rise in the mainstream.

He has collaborated with artists including J Balvin, Ozuna, Farruko, El Alfa, Arcángel, and Daddy Yankee.

He’s also made guest appearances on songs by Drake, Dua Lipa, Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Will Smith.

While speaking to Rolling Stone, the musician described himself as being a wallflower, though he developed a reputation at school for coming up with creative raps.

He was raised going to a Catholic church and knew from a young age he wanted to be a singer, so he would sing in his church’s choir.

Bad Bunny has released three studio albums: X 100pre (2018) and YHLQMDLG (2020), El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo (2020), plus a joint album with J Balvin titled Oasis.

His biggest tracks include Yo Perreo Sola, La Romana, Ignorantes, and La Noche De Anoche, all of which are sung in Spanish.

Bad Bunny claimed the top spot as Spotify’s most-streamed artist globally, with more than 8.3billion streams in 2020.

His album YHLQMDLG, which was distributed in February 2020, was the number one streamed album on Spotify by the end of 2021.

The rapper beat the likes of Drake, The Weeknd, J Balvin, and late rapper Juice WRLD, to claim the number one spot.

Is Bad Bunny joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

On April 26, 2022, Bad Bunny made an appearance in Las Vegas, Nevada for the popular movie convention, CinemaCon.

While he was at the event, it was announced that he is slated to take on a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Sony Pictures executive, Sanford Panitch, said of the singer’s casting: “Sometimes we get lucky with the perfect casting, and I think that’s what we’ve got here.”

It was revealed at the event that Bad Bunny will be portraying El Muerto, an enemy of Spider-Man.

Who is El Muerto?

In Marvel Comics, El Muerto is a wrestler who frequently faces off with Spider-Man.

His power set includes super strength and endurance given to him from a mask passed down through generations of his family.

Bad Bunny shared with the audience at CinemaCon: “I love wrestling, I’m a pro wrestler, I don’t know if you know.”

“This is why I love this character. I think it’s the perfect role for me. It will be epic.”

The superstar’s portrayal of El Muerto is scheduled to hit theaters for the character’s titular film on January 12, 2024.
