KANYE West has told his lawyers to speed up his divorce from Kim Kardashian after weeks of targeting the star in nasty attacks.
The Donda rapper, 44, and KUWTK star, 41, are set to face off in a court “showdown” on Wednesday.

But after initially objecting to Kim’s filing to be legally single, it appears Kanye has had a change of heart.
A day before their court appearance, the musician revealed he wants to get their divorce over and done with so he can focus on their four kids.
“I’ve asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention into our beautiful children,” Kanye told Hollywood Unlocked on Tuesday.
They have four children together – daughters North, eight, and Chicago, four, and sons Saint, six, and Psalm, two.
Kanye had objected to Kim’s desire to be legally single out of concerns the star may move some of their assets to her separate accounts if she decides to remarry.
His new outlook on their divorce comes one week after Kim said she feels “emotionally distressed” by his tantrums on social media.

While once again begging a judge to declare her legally single, she said there is “no way to repair their marriage” and that Kanye is deliberately trying to make it “difficult” for her to remarry.
“I very much desire to be divorced,” Kim said in a petition obtained by TMZ.

She added that she has asked Kanye to keep their divorce private, “but he has not done so,” and referred to his repeated attacks on her and boyfriend Pete Davidson.
The mother-of-four said: “Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress.”
In the past few weeks, the Eazy rapper has accused Kim of kidnapping their daughter Chicago, slammed her parenting of their daughter North and claimed she thinks he’s put a hit out on her.
He has also called Pete a “d**khead”, threatened to “beat his a**” and accused the SNL comedian of trying to “destroy” his family.
HITTING BACK
Elsewhere in her filing, Kim slammed Kanye’s request for her to give up any marital privileges with any future spouses as it pertains to the custody of their four kids.
The Skims founder called his demand “unprecedented,” saying: “Clearly Mr West’s goal here is to prevent or make it difficult for Ms Kardashian to remarry.”
Kim concluded her request by saying: “While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realization that there is no way to repair our marriage.
“Kanye does not agree but at least it appears that he has come to the realization that I want to end our marriage, even if he does not.”
She filed for divorce from the entertainer in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage.
KIM’S PLEAS
Back in January, Kanye leaked texts allegedly from Kim in which she begged him to stop creating danger.
The text read: “U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault.”
Another text, in a now-deleted post, read: “Why can’t you keep any of our conversations private??”
Kanye responded: “Because I got it from my favorite person in the world. I’m your number one fan. Why wouldn’t I tell everyone.”
The rapper also took aim at Pete, blasting the actor while posting a pic of him and Kim out on a date together last month.
KANYE’S ATTACK
Along with the snapshot, he wrote: “LOOK AT THIS D**KHEAD. I WONDER IF INSTAGRAM GONNA SHUT DOWN MY PAGE FOR DISSING HILARY CLINTON’S EX-BOYFRIEND.”
The final line seemingly referenced a joke that Pete and Hillary had gotten together after they were spotted randomly running into each other.
He also recently threatened to “beat up” Pete in Eazy, his new song with The Game.
Kanye raps: “God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.”
Elsewhere in the song, he accused Kim of relying on nannies to raise their children.
He says: “I got love for the nannies, but real family is better / The cameras watch the kids, y’all stop takin’ the credit.
“When you give ’em everything, they only want more / Boujee and unruly, y’all need to do some chores / Rich-a** kids, this ain’t yo mama house.”
IT’S KOMPLICATED?
Despite his vocal objections to Kim’s new relationship with Pete, Kanye appears to have moved on himself.
The rapper has been spotted spending time with model Chaney Jones following a short romance with Julia Fox.
Chaney, who has been referred to by haters as the “dollar store” version of the KKW Beauty mogul by fans, recently shared a photo with her new man.
The famous duo has been seen out and about together on several occasions, most recently enjoying dinner at Carbone Miami.
